Teresa White

I can barely remember when I didn't write poetry; it is as essential as breathing to me. Poetry lets me ground myself in the world, helps me describe and encapsulate my feelings and is, in the end, a diary of my life."

A native Seattllite, I now live in Spokane,
Washington, with my husband of thirty years.

I've had over 150 poems published since I began submitting to online journals three years ago. My poems have been translated into Italian for Mefisto and into German for Niederngasse. I was nominated for a 1999 Pushcart prize by the Melic Review.
