Michaela A. Gabriel
Michaela A. Gabriel, born 1971, lives in Vienna (Austria) and earns her living as a web designer. A passionate traveller and "communication junkie", she needs people, music and books. Nobody has been able to stop her since she wrote her first poem at 13. Preferring English to German, most of her poetry is not written in her mother tongue.
Her poems have appeared in several magazines, both in print and online, e.g. in Gangway, Savoy Magazine, Stirring, and Samsara.
Michi, as she likes to be called, is editor of the German edition of Niederngasse, has recently served as guest editor of Samsara Quarterly and is very active in internet poetry forums. She is currently working on her first chapbook and busy preparing her wedding which is to take place in june.
