Sorrow's tide
crimson release
Sufficient for purification
yet, sensible for survival.
Hidden from the judging eyes
that would demand its restraint.
Replace the loss
with sharp gasps
to cleanse a tarnished soul.
Eyes widen in the face of reality,
though faced reality may be artificial
crouching
in the dark shadows
of one's mind.
Match the pain
challenge the hurt
Survive.
