Members of Highland Presbyterian Church and many friends and well-wishers gathered on Sunday, August 5, 2007, at the church fellowship hall to observe the 50-year mark since H.K. Park came to the United States from Korea. It was not only a special time for H.K., it was a special time for all who got to hear tales of what it was like when he first arrived in this country. It was a difficult task, but wife Ann Park somehow managed to keep the affair a surprise up until the last moment.
